100 Black Men of America, Inc. has a mission to improve the quality of life within its communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans. The 100 will continue and build on its efforts, with the focus on providing financial assistance in select Target Markets. The goal and objective of the Southwest Airlines Foundation grant are to ensure young Black men see the endless opportunities available to them by engaging with strong, accomplished African American male mentors…mentors who look like them; to ensure voices are no longer silenced; and to recognize the need to support the Black community is stronger than ever.
In June, we made a $500,000 donation* to two longtime Partners: the National Urban League and 100 Black Men of America. We have proudly supported these organizations for several years and it’s an honor to advocate the great work they do to promote education, mentorship, and leadership development in Black communities across the country.
