Sterling Lane
Sterling Lane is a Branch Manager at Wells Fargo Advisors. With over 20 years of experience in the areas of the financial services industry, Sterling has concentrated on expanding his industry knowledge and leveraging that knowledge to continuously add value to clients and Financial Advisors.
Sterling joined Wells Fargo in 2003, where he swiftly rose through the ranks to become an Area Sales Executive, Internal Retirement Sales Manager, and Retirement Channel
In 2015, Sterling joined TIAA-CREF Wealth Management Advisors, where he specialized in planning and advice for high net worth clients. Sterling formed meaning relationships with his clients, while helping them plan for their Retirement and their life beyond. Sterling believes Retirement is a journey, not a designation.
Sterling re-joined Wells Fargo Advisors in Minneapolis, as an Associate Manager in October 2016. Here he worked directly with the Market Manager and Branch Managers to support the markets’ financial advisors and the advisor’s client relationships.
In May 2018, Sterling relocated to Pasadena, CA and was he named the Wells Fargo Advisors Pasadena Branch Manager. Sterling focus on strategic business planning, recruiting successful financial advisors and growing market share and profitability in the Pasadena, CA area.
Sterling received a bachelor’s degree from Lincoln University. He holds the CFP ®, CRPC ®, CMFC ® designations. In addition, Sterling holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 31, 66, 9 and 10 securities registrations.
Sterling is a native of Chicago, Illinois and nothing means more to Sterling than family. He has been married for over 19 years and is a proud Father to two children.
