Reggie Walker

Reggie Walker is a former NFL linebacker who began his career playing for Kansas State University before being drafted by the San Diego Chargers in 2013. After a six-year career, he decided to retire from football, returning to Kansas State University as a student to complete his undergraduate degree. Reggie currently lives in Kansas City with his wife, Chelsea, and their two daughters. His sights are now firmly set on earning a master’s degree in counseling, and helping other men and athletes on their path to recovery.

Reggie joined the 1in6 Board of Directors in 2018, and assists the organization in normalizing the conversation about male sexual abuse and assault, as well as promoting 1in6’s initiatives and services to help survivors and their loved ones. Reggie shared his story though The Bristlecone Project, sharing part of his own experience in order to let other men know that they are not alone. The mission of 1in6 is to help men who have had unwanted or abusive sexual experiences live healthier, happier lives. For more information and resources visit
