Reed LoRenzo Shannon

Reed LoRenzo Shannon, {SAG-AFTRA; AEA; ASCAP}, dreamed of becoming a professional actor, singer and dancer since the age of 4, when he began studying musical theatre at North Carolina Conservatory in Raleigh, NC. Reed’s dreams turned into reality at the age of 13, when he was cast in the roles of Young Berry Gordy, Young Stevie Wonder and Young Michael Jackson in the 1st National Tour of Broadway’s “Motown the Musical”. In August 2015, Reed moved to Los Angeles, CA where he successfully transitioned from Broadway to the tv & film industry while completing high school. Reed has appeared in guest star and co-star roles in several popular network shows, including Nickelodeon’s “School of Rock” and Henry Danger”, and ABC’s “Speechless” and “Station 19”. Reed also is an accomplished voiceover actor, performing the series regular role of “singing AJ” in the Nick, Jr. show, “Blaze and the Monster Machines”. Reed recently made his silver screen debut in January of this year, playing the role of “Joe” in the movie “Canal Street”
{canalstreetmovie.com}.

Music remains an enduring passion for Reed, and he is the co-founder and host of a young
entertainer’s performance platform called, “Expressions”. An emerging singer/songwriter, Reed will be releasing his first EP of original music entitled, “SoulPlay”, in Spring 2019.
