Dr. Reuben G. Alexander
Dr. Ruben G. Alexander, M.D. is a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained interventional pain management physician practicing in Las Vegas. Dr. Alexander graduated as the valedictorian from Morehouse College with a perfect 4.0 GPA. After college, he completed his medical school training and internship in general surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Alexander subsequently went to Brooklyn, New York to complete his residency in anesthesiology at the State University of New York at Downstate, where he also served as chief resident. After completion of residency training, he completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in pain management at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Alexander brings his expertise in medical management and interventional skills in order to help patients dealing with acute and chronic pain states. He is revered by both peers and patients alike. He has earned awards and accolades such as induction into honor societies (Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha) and being named a Gamble 21st Century Scholar and FOCUS Research Fellow. Additionally, Dr. Alexander serves not only his local community but also serves abroad in medically underserved communities, sharing his knowledge and compassion to those in need. Dr. Alexander hails from Atlanta, GA and lives with his wife and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys travel, photography, golf and movies.
