DeLois Jordan Smith
Delois Jordan Smith was born December 7, 1950, in Attalla, Alabama, and raised in Southern California. She has four children and a blended family of nine. Her first born son is Montell Jordan, National recording artist, singer, producer, song writer and now Pastor for over ten years. Delois has fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Delois has spent years working in the college curriculum system as a Financial Aide Consultant and Admissions and Records also College President Assistant Clerk. She has a professional background in Sales working for a Data Imaging Company and Eastman Kodak in Burbank, California.
She is married to Dr. Tommie Smith, 1968 Olympic Gold Medalist.
She is currently the Founder of Delo2k Enterprise online memorabilia site, started the nonprofit Tommie Smith Youth Initiative (TSYI), created and maintain “Live the Legacy” award of Dr. Tommie Smith, and is the Manager for (Motai,LLC) for media television movies for him. She has been his General Manager for over 25 years.
Her mountaintop in life is moving youth to a higher level, by motivating and inspiring them to be the best they can be. In Mrs. Smith’s spare time, she loves traveling and social communications. She is grounded in her Christian experience and loves singing old time Gospel hymns.
