Q: How do I enroll my child in the mentoring program?
A: Mentoring programs are implemented at the chapter level. Please contact the “100” affiliate in your area for specific criteria, enrollment procedures and space availability.
Q: What is the 100 Black Men National Program? How do I apply for a scholarship?
A: 100 Black Men of America's National Scholarship Program is one of several national initiatives dedicated to the promotion and recognition of academic excellence and the pursuit of higher education. Through the support of our corporate partners, the “100” is able to provide scholarships to hundreds of deserving students on an equal opportunity basis regardless of race, sex, creed, or religious preference.
The National Scholarship Program is available to undergraduate students who will maintain full time status at an accredited, post-secondary institution beginning in the fall of the year. Applicants must meet all of the eligibility requirements outlined in the application in order to qualify. Applications are available through local chapters and at www.100blackmen.org in January of each year. Scholarship awards must be applied toward tuition, room and board and range from $1,000 to $3,000.

Q: How can I acquire a program template to start a program within my chapter?
A: Program Templates are available for National initiatives by contacting De Morris Walker at demorris.walker@100bmoa.org.

A: To order a mentoring CD or manual, please contact the Finance Department at 404-688-5100. Each tool is $20.00*

Q: How can my chapter apply for a grant?
A: Request for Proposals are mailed to local chapters periodically throughout the year. You can learn more about upcoming RFP's by attending the next training conference.
Q: How can I get certified to mentor a student?
A: Certification and re-certification training is available through two mechanisms: 1) Individual Chapter Training 2) Training Conferences. To request individual training for your chapter, please contact Carl Jordan at 404-688-5100 or De Morris Walker.
